There is no reason why children should be starving to death like this. It would take only $50 Billion per year to end world hunger — the same amount people in the U.S. alone spent on their pets in 2010.

Here are some of their ideas:

Drink tap water instead of bottled water and donate the money you save to a worthy charity that's caring for children in the Third World.

Eat a simple meal—a meal of toast and butter, or a ration meal, similar to what is provided in refugee camps—then donating the funds saved to help people in that region.

Give to a worthy charity which is working to end starvation.
